Urban-Crossover mixed with the influence of Golden and Silver-Era Hip Hop and R&B. A Hint of Club and a dash of Pop influence... and 'Voila', you have "Lady T". Making HerStory; Lady T's Bio: The official journey began in 2003... Lady T started working for independent music retailers such as; Mix World Inc. and The Bassment. In 2005, she was also featured on hip-hop artist Visual’s album, “Figured It Out”, which is available on cdbaby.com. In 2006, she met producer Erwin (DNA) Carrera, nominated for “Producer Of The Year” at the 2006 Chicago Music Awards. Soon after linking up, the two recorded her first original single, “What You Want”, which was played by Deejays across Chicago, and even in the United Kingdom, with the help of Myspace. The track was released on Chicago deejay, DJV’s mixtape, “For The People v7”. In September of 2007 she joined forces with streetflavaradio.com along with Producer Erwin "DNA" Carrera, hosting The Lady T Show, which was aired Monday nights on the Hip Hop channel. In 2009, she was aired on Comcast Channel 25 with Status TV. In 2010 she was featured on two mixtapes, one of which was main feature and is available on datpiff.com, called Bout Dam Time. In 2011, she had been busy with numerous collaboration efforts, and her very first solo project. She was featured on United Northside, which was a project uniting artists from the Northside of Chicago that was inspired by the street anthem, "Northside United", featuring her and various other artists from her hometown. April 2012 Lady T released her first solo project, Unfinished Business. The project features DJ D-Man (#1 Billboard Chart topping producer). D-Man produced "Ain't Gotta Lie To Kick It" which is track 2 on Unfinished Business, alongside of that he mixed and mastered the project. Unfinished Business is a compilation of popular songs Lady T has created over the course of her journey through music, which began as a teenager, and her newer songs she has written going into adulthood. The idea behind the project was to release her music done over the years collectively on one project. After the release of "Unfinished Business", the need for more of a visual with her music became loud and clear. In November 2012, Lady T had her first music video feature in a song called "Thirsty Boyz", and it features two other artists from her hometown, Sarcastik, and Mz. Michelle, filmed by StatusTV. Lady T is currently working on her sophomore project, P.M.S. (A Dna Beatz Production). There is no release date set yet, it will release sometime in 2013.
